1 of 2 ever made?

i was given my first shotgun from my grandfather who could tell a great story. he told me it was 1 of 2 ever made because it proved to expensive to market produce and was given to him by an uncle who worked for stevens arms co. it is a .410 side by side. stamped on the barrel is: j.stevens arms company, chicopee falls, mass. u.s.a., patented april 20 1915. some of the internal parts are stamped h35354. i am hoping someone out there could let me know if this is a rare gun or one that was mass produced. i could send pictures if anyone is interested. thanks for you time.

    Hello kudej! Welcome to the forum. You didn't give much info to go on, The Md 530 SxS has double triggers, made from 1936=1954
    The Md 530St SxS has a single trigger, the Md 530M had tenite stocks (a form of plastic, in wood grain) then there was the Md 311. double triggers. So maybe this will help you identify which gun you have.

    I think your grandfather bought his gun from the same guy my grandmother bought hers. She told me about her little .410, and only 7 were made in the over/under configuration before they switched to SxS. Needless to say (mine now) Stevens Md 240, quite a few more than 7 were made!! LOL grandparents are great! sure miss mine.
