AK-47 Kits Again

I plan on buying a Romanian AK47 Kit, but first I had a question.

Do the kits have everything except for the receiver?

If so .. where do I get a receiver and make sure I comply with the law.

I am sure someone has addressed the question about the kits.. but I have not seen it as a yes or no answer.

    Global trades and Ohio Ordnance both make receivers. They run about $60. You also will need 6 us made compliance parts to comply with the 89 ban on evil imported "assault rifles". The compliance parts will run you about $50-60. Your receiver counts as one. Most commonly changed are muzzle break, piston, hammer, disconector, trigger, pistol grip, or stock and hanguards. pick any five. you will also need rivets or screws to put it together.

    check out Shotgun news, they have a good article on building AK's. but hurry up and get the kit as barrels will no longer be imported after october, i am going to order a couple of kits soon.
