    Nice scope for the money. I have a couple of em. Very bright/clear, hold up well under heavy recoil. Wouldnt hesitate to get another one. Downside, not as good as my Leupold's ,Burris' and Swarovski's...but they dont cost as much either. I doubt youd be unhappy with it.

    I have two S1's I would say they are about the equivalent of the lowest priced Burris and Leupold for quality...for about fifty bucks less. I looked at the S2's and they get pretty pricey pretty quick. Same thing for the S3's and the rest of their upper end scopes. I will say on their behalf they are made in Japan with quality in mind. The only thing I have a tough time with is they are hard to adjust the parallax out of...maybe that is just me. -
    Bottom line: I would buy one again.

    Thanks sandwar. I have a oportunity to purchase one 3x9 s1, like new in box for $125. Is it worth that?

    I paid $99.00 each within the last year for my S1's. $125.00 would make it about 25 buck less still, than the Leupold "Rifleman" which retails around here {Minnesota} for about $150.00. Same with the Nikon Prostaff. The Fullfield II averages around $199.00 but can be had on flea-bay sometimes for around 149.00 with about 10 bucks shipping charges. Shop around until you get the best deal. $125.00 though isn't all that bad if it is an on the spot purchase. Depending on where you live taxes will be less than shipping.
    Stay tuned though you are probably going to get more posters and some good sites with sales....be patient and get the best deal.

    I sell Sightron scopes and they are a very good quality scope. I don't sell the S1's, only the SII in either straight fixed power or variable power and then only with the target dot. Very small unknown scope brand. Too bad more people didn't check them out, I believe they would like the quality.
