Does anybody know what this is worth?

I have a brass, PENGUN tear gas pen. It's about 5-6in. long and it pulls back and cocks. It has a clip on it you hook on your shirt. It looks like it is reloadable. Does anyone know anything about this object? Value, when it was made, etc? Email me with info. It's the first one I ever seen.

  they were signal flares that screwed into the end. used in vietnam and private boats a lot. complete kits are collectible.

  The Pengun was made under Patent No.3192105 by Penguin Assoc.Inc of
  Malvern, Pa. They were not brass but brass anodized aluminum for the housing.
  Printing date coded on the instructions indicates 4/65.
  They offered regular and magnum tear gas cartridges as well as aerial flares in red, amber, white, daylight smoke and hand held smoke.
  Red USN Mk80, Mod O aerial flares ( made by Penguin) used to show up in gun shows but now that I could use some I can't find them.
