Holster for Super Black Hawk

I plan to use my newly acquired 44 Mag Super BlackHawk for deer hunting next year. Does anyone have a holster
recomendation. a belt holster with my short legs might wear out the end of the barrel

  Until very recently I had a Super Blackhawk 10.5" SS. (My brother wanted it real bad.) I had the Uncle Mikes that is worn like a bandolier across the chest with the gun holster under arm as a cross draw. I liked it since it was very functional and comfortable. It's a flap holster, too, so I didn't worry about the gun getting wet in the rain. No idea as to the cost, though, as it was a gift.

  Some good holsters are shown on the link provided, but no 'flap' holsters are shown. I find the full flap holster very useful. You have no worries..the flap keeps things secure and free of debris regardless of what you have to squeeze through or slide on, etc. etc.
  
  I generally still/blind hunt with my 7.5 inch bbl, and usually have the gun out on my stand. No real need for a 'quick draw'.

  I bought a crossdraw holster from Freedom Arms, it fits my 7.5" SBH perfectly. Its comfortable and out of the way when riding the 4wheeler or while in the treestand.
