Another dealer question?

I'm cleaning out my filing cabinet that I use to hold my FFL's that I receive from other dealers. Can I throw out the expired FFL's from dealers that I received guns from, or do I need to keep them for inspection purposes.

  I FILL OUT A 4473 THE SAME AS IF THE FFL HOLDER CAME IN MY SHOP AND THEN STAPLE THE FFL COPY TO IT AND FILE IN NUMRICAL ORDER. IF I'M EVER ASKED WHO I SOLD A GUN TO ALL I HAVE TO DO IS LOOK IT UP IN THE BOUND BOOK, GET THE 4473 # AND BINGO I HAVE THE FFL COPY TO. OTHERWISE I'D KEEP THEM FOR 20 YEARS LIKE THE 4473'S.
