Winchester 100 stock

I have a Winchester model 100 stock with checkering. Can anyone tell me what model year these were used?

    I have a win 100 from 1966. Anyone know what kind of wood was used for the stock? I will try to post a PIC later

    If it is a basketweave design, it is post 64. If it is regular checkering, it is pre 64.

    Snowtigger is correct, if it is an original stock. New checkered stocks can be had for the model 100.
