Looking for information on Beretta SxS

I put a 12 guage Beretta 627 EL double barrel on lay-away earlier this week. I have blue book prices now, but am still looking for any information on the shotgun, any reviews, etc. It has choke tubes unlike any I have seen before; they are extended type and the extended part looks almost like a course steel mesh. Can someone tell me anything about this style of choke tubes, or any information on the gun. I have searched the internet and looked in all my old magazines from the 90's. All I've found were a few that sold on Gun Broker and other boards. Thanks for any replies.
