Problem with a Win model 94
HI - I just got a 94 and when operaying the lever the hammer goes down whenclosing the action, it can then be cocked by hand and the trigger lets the hammer fall like it should. Can you tell me what part is probably failing and direct me to a site for dis and re assrmbly instructions ?

WHAT VINTAGE M-94 (PRE/POST 64, ANGLE EJECT)? 0 -
HI MIKE - Its a top eject ser # 43404XX post 64. If I move the hammer just a bit farther it will catch on the second notch, it seems the hammer might be worn where the bolt moves it back or the bottom of the bolt where it rides on the hammer, should i consider replacing the hammer about $36 + shipping or breech bolt about $66 + shipping or do you think it warrants both parts ? There is no sentamental value to the gun but I wouldn't want to hunt with it like this and sure can't sell it to someone this way. The gun has had use and is about 75-80% Thoughts please THANKS 0 -
If you have not already done so, tear it apart and give it a thorough cleaning. Check for any obvious chips on the hammer and trigger sears before buying replacement parts. 0
