browning a-5 clone??
gun show find, daiwa m-500, 12 ga., vent rib, mgf. by singer nikko co. ltd. japan. I know the later Browning A-5's were mgf. by miroko in Japan but I've never heard of this one, looks just like the A-5 and I'll bet parts interchange. Any one have any info??

The current B B has a big write up on Nikko Firearms of Japan. They made various sporting rifles & shotguns for Winchester and many other firms for over 25 years. Until they went out of business in the late 80's. Many of these guns were sold in the U.S. using various "Trade Names" etc.
