High Standard Sport King value?

I've got a High Standard .22 auto pistol called a"Sport King" Gun is in pretty nice shape, but not perfect. Looks to be all original with black plastic grips. S/N 422***. Has a standard weight barrel and an extra clip. Any ideas on value? Many thanks. Bob

Your Sport King is from the first series in which the Sport King appeared, the lever name series. Your Sport kIng is probably from 1953 - a complete serial number can generally lead to an exact ship date.
Grips for your pistol should be a redish brown with black flecks intersperced throughout.
Value depends greatly on condition. $350-$400 for excellent condition to $200 for a gun with 80% of the orignal finish remaining and without any other problems. The extra magazine would be worth $35-$50 depending if it is factory original and one like those shipped with the early guns in your gun's serieso or the design that shipped with the later guns in the lever name series.
