10/22 magizines sticking

I have a 10/22, but when I try to release mag, I have to open action
depress mag release and push the magizine out.
any ideas what the problem is?

    Interesting problem...... It might need a good cleaning. Check the center screw that holds the front and back of the mag tight and make sure it is snug. Thats assuming they are the 10rd factory mags.

    If your problem is with more than 1 mag then its likely a gun problem. There might be a burr on the mag release assembly. I would take the mag release out and check its condition. If its cracked or broken it will need to be replaced.
