ID on old hammer pump

I bought an old hammer pump shotgun today. It has a 32 inch bbl, and is marked on top of the barrel " *National Fire Arms Co.*". Closer to the reciever is "12 Ga"
On the left side of the barrel is "*Full Choke*"
The serial number is on the reciever just in front of the feeding tube, "112202"

The metal on this old shotgun is in very good condition, with a nice brown patina just starting to show through. The stock is good, but has been refinished. The forearm is cracked, and has been "bubba" repaired, probably decades ago, with bailing wire, but is fixable to where it would not be atrocious.

I can't find any information on this as to age or value, but I have just started looking. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

    this shotgun is made by marlin same as the model 1898.It should not be shot as they were made for black powder.actions were weak.that is marlins recommendation.I have shot mine but loaded shells with black powder or pyrodex.tks hedge

    I think hedgehopper is right, and I thank you for your information. I was looking through Flaydermans guide to antique Firearms, and the Marlin is the spitting image of it. I don't intend to shoot it. Main reason is that the breech bolt doesn't lock up. I'll probably take the firing pin out of it and hide it under the buttplate, just in case someone else gets ahold of it. I just like old guns.
