More 870 Wingmaster questions

Here are two auction descriptions from the same seller. What do I need to know to get a barrel for my 870 Wingmaster 20 guage? Thanks guys for the help.


This one is rare and in about 95%. It is for the full size frame, not thr LT. It is 28" long and and is a fixed full choke. It will require $8.00 PH&I to a UPS address

This is a 28" full choke plain barrel in about 95% condition. It has the blue finish and chambered for 3' shells. Buyer to pay $10.00 PH&I to a UPS address in the cont. USA. Others to be determined at time of sale. Money order please.

  Remington made 870 twenties on two receiver sizes. The larger is the Standard (Std) and is similar in size to a twelve gage. The smaller is the Lightweight (LW) and is scaled down to the twenty.
  
  You need to determine which twenty you have and get that barrel. Check your receiver and barrel markings. I believe the LW's are marked Lightweight or LW.
  
  The two barrels you linked are both standards (large receiver).
  
  Also, you can use a magnum barrel on a non-magnum receiver as long as you do not use magnum shells.

  one of the easies ways to tell which you have is to measure your magazine tube dia. if its measure right at 1 " across it is the standard model if it measure about 3/4" across its the newer light weight model
