Rem 513T Cartouche
I picked up an old Remington 513T at the Louisville show yesterday. It has the Property stamp on the barrel and receiver, the 'P' under the grip, and 'LEAD'or'LLAD' on the left side of the stock. Can anyone tell me who or what LLAD or LEAD is. I can't wait to take it out and shoot it. Someone varnished the stock, so I'm planning on stripping it and oiling it like it should be.
Thanks

This is my other purchase, a Winchester 55 Semi-Auto single shot?!?.

Probably a school owned firearm at one time, the "AD" being "Athletic Department". 0 -
The stock stamping on the 513T is a rebuild/inspection for:
Letterkenny Army Depot in Pa. LEAD
