Remington 700 rifles
Can anyone tell me if remington made the model 700 that has a stainless barrel that appears to be blued in any calibers other than 7mm mag & 300 winMag?

The Remington Custom Shop offers the Model 700 AWR (Alaskan Wilderness Rifle) in stainless with teflon coating that looks like it is matte blued. It is available in many magnum chamberings (7mm RM/RUM/STW, 300 WM/WeaM/RUM, 338 WM/RUM, and 375 H&H/RUM. The Model 7 AWR is available in the SAUM calibers too. I don't have any experience with the Rem Custom Shop or any of the above calibers except the 338 Win Mag.

They were mase in 264 win mag also 0 -
from blue book, add 15% for 7mm rem mag, 264 win mag, or 300 win mag with stainless steel barrel manufactured 1962-70. those are all they have in the original remington 700 bdl's, stainless barrels.
I'm not an expert, but i did stay in a Holiday Inn Express last night.0 -

the threee magnums mentioned are the only cataloged stainless/blued guns made to my knowledge also... the 7mm's are not that hard to find, but the 300 and 264 both require vigilance to stumble across a good one...took me three years on the bdl in 300 and so far , have had to settle on the adl for the 264 ! 0
