Weaver #45 vs #47 ring base

Does anyone have a #45 base lying arround that they could compare in thickness to a #47? I know the hole spacing is different, but is the thickness similar.

  I measure the #45 to be .458" without removing anything for the radius. I don't have a #47 to compare it to. I hope this helps.

  Perfect, I have a 47 here, well actually it is one of the long discontinued 147's that hinge over, but I couldn't find a 145.

  The Weaver #45 base is .812 long, hole spacing is .504, base diameter is 1.050, thickness is .396. The # 47 base is 1.168 long, hole spacing is .860, diameter ia 2.692 andthickness is .368. The complete Weaver table of mount dimensions is in Brownells "Gunsmith KinksIII"
