Iver Johnson .22lr M-1 carbine

Can anyone post pictures of these rifles or others that look similar? My girlfriend got one from her fathers collection when he passed, and it did not have a magazine with it. I emailed the resident IJ guru and would like to make sure I have the right model number. I think it is the m-1 because it has a notched stock and it is .22lr caliber. Thanks much :)

    These were mfg by Erma and imported by Iver Johnson. There are several sources for these mags. Good Luck [8D]

    Last time I checked they did not have what I was looking for, if I am even looking at the right make and model of the weapon.

    I notice they do have one. Now I want to make sure I have the correct weapon. I checked the pictures posted on this site and others, and it looks like I am correct. I can not find a model number or anything on the weapon except on the very top where it says the caliber.

    It's listed in the Triple K Catalog as the "Iver Johnson Carbine" "Manufactured in Germany by Erma". Their part number, ( Triple K ) is # 2072. I imagine thats were Gun Parts gets there magazines from.

    Hi Hawk. I collect .22rf look-alikes of military weapons and below is a photo of what looks like three US GI .30cal Carbines. NOT SO! Top one is original Inland GI, center is Erma .22rf (SAME GUN AS YOUR IJ), and bottom is a Crosman BB carbine from 1970. Hard to tell apart. Crosman has no oiler cutout in stock. ALSO, Erma and Crosman left off the bayonet lug - for obvious reasons. Hope this pic is what you were looking for. Shansei45

    Wow this is outstanding. Thank you alot for your support and help. She is bringing the rifle over on Wed, so I will look to see which model. Between the email I recieved from another member here and the forum posts, I think I got the match.

    Only other place said the mags were out for 6 months until more are made.

    Shansei45. You mentioned erma left off the bayonet lug. Did the IJ model come with it and look very much like the original inland GI.30? from what I understand Erma made this model as did IJ and even another company in germany made a similar one? Please let me know if I am wrong, and thank you again :)
