EDBAR riflescope
Anyone have any information on a 3.5-12X riflescope marked EDBAR. It has no country of origin or other markings.

Back in the 1930's a company called Edbar International manufactured a very cheap camera for F. W. Woolworth Co. I would bet it is the same company, but google searches bring up nothing on rifle scopes. I will check some books tonight if you do not get a more helpful answer during the day. 0 -
I can determine only that it was probably not made in the US between the '30's and the mid '80's. In doing some searches on the net, I came up with some references in cyrillic, leading me to think it is perhaps Russian in origin. Sorry! 0
