Colt Peacemaker .357

I was at a local shop today and they have a double action Colt marked Peacemaker. It has about a 6 inch barrel and looks like a parkerized Python.It is about 85-90% and the price is $375.00.Whats it worth?

    Are you sure it wasn't Peacekeeper? Colt made a modern .357Mag. called the Peacekeeper. They seem to be going for any where between $300 to $500 depending on condition.

    The Peacekeeper is actually a Trooper MK V with the matte finish. Completely different action than the Python.

    Not sure of the exact years, but I know they were produced in 1985-1987 at least. I bought mine new in 1987 and a friend in the service bought his in '85. Very strong, accurate guns. $375 would be a fair price around here for one in 90%.

    Yep it is a Trooper MK IV with a vent rib and a mat finish. Made semi famous in Miami Vice. There were not a whole lot of these made and they come up for sale every so often. My 2 cents [8D]
