Pulled bullets.
Do pulled bullets (weither rifle or pistol) have the same accuracy/ precision when re-loaded into new cases?

Hello I have shot both not only pulled bullets but recovered bullets . At CAMP PERRY we have gone down range after the days shooting and recovered pistol bullets that had been shot. This is a 1000 yard range in places and as you are shooting at a target about shoulder high the bullets just skip across the grass. I remelt the lead bullets includeing 22LR and tumble clean the 230 Gn. ball bullets for practice. Do they shoot. AS GOOD ? no but are ok for 25 yard practice. 0 -
I have shot many bullets pulled from foreign and/or military ammo that had some primer or powder features that I wanted to avoid.
With the exception of the steel jacket bullets, they performed just as well as 'new' bullets of similar design. Now, some of the weapons are not known to be tack drivers, so there is a good bit of room on the paper due to that....but the pulled bullets have never been a particular problem to me.

With bullet pulled with an inertia puller, I can detect no difference.
