Wards Western Field - *Model 21* * 16 ga*
I am going to assume the value of this shotgun in minimal. Most answers i find to people question as to value is $50-$100. My girlfriend picke mine up for $15 at a garage sale [^] so thats great for a little behind the seat grouse gun. I also know that Wards had many diferent manufactures i.e. Savage, Mossberg, Stevens, I have even heard Winchester[?]..... Mine is a Model 21 Folding Single Shot 16 ga. I cant find it on any cross refernce sheets. What is the best resource to find out this kind of info. Also, the butt stock on this one has a slight crack. Is there a good place to find original replacement, and maybe an original soft case.

It will likely be difficult to find original stock without buying another as a parts gun, but try Gunparts Corp. above. Probably have more luck looking for it under the original manufacturers model number. The soft cases that came with most of the Wards shotguns I have seen were heavy tan cotton with no padding.
You are about right on in value, so you probably don't want to spend a lot to replace the stock. Good Luck.0
