smaller primers in 410 paper hulls?

umm, ok, i'm new to this forum thing so please bear with me...
i've been reloading black powder shotgun shells for a while, and recently picked up some old remington 410 paper hulls. problem is , the old primers measure .226" where as regular 209 primers are .242". just enough to be frustrating. i've dremmeled out the pockets on a few with passible results, but what a pain. any ideas, comments, and considerations would be appreciated. thanks...

    Earlier Remington hulls take a 157 primer. It is smaller in dia. then Winchester.

    do not interchange them. as was mentioned, they are for the 157 primer.

    Man! I thought I was cheap!! You actually dremmeled out the pockets! Buy some AA ,410 s and use them , they'll last along time.

    yes, i'm cheap; its a genetic thing...anyone know where to find the smaller 157 primers? the plastic hulls just dont hold up well to black powder, they're fine for smokeless though. i really appreciate the response, guys.

    Tai-chi, 1,000 would probably last me about a thousand shots...seriously 1,000+ depending on $$; and hey, i'm in pickens, south cacki-lacky...as far as reload data goes, hmmm, that's one of those sticky subjects. its ok if i blow myself up using stupid loads, but i wouldn't want to be responsible for anyone else doing likewise. black powder is pretty forgiving if you use some comon sense and knowledge. think muzzle-loader and be conservative, and read !

    loading data from my Hodgon basic manual #24 for 3in. 3/4 oz shot card + filler 24 gr. pyrodex "CTG" velocity 1038 L.U.P.5900
    1/2 oz shot card + filler 24 gr. pyrodex velocity 1089 L.U.P.5700
    volume conparsion is 30gr.black powder= 24 gr pyrodex. tks. hedge
    p.s. i load these in 1/2 oz for my double hammer 410 ithica.

    hedgehopper is pretty right on, dean...i use similar in 444 rugar brass. they're a little short and sometimes the extractor misses (pain), but they do hold up. yes i do use pistol primers. hey, wait a minute; i thought this was my question...wha' happened. i'm answering my own questions? "help me, mr. wizzard..."
