verona semi auto shotguns?
hi, went into a sporting goods store, and saw a nice looking shotgun, it was a verona semi auto 12 gauge. price was under 250, how are these shotguns? dependability? and availability of parts? it was very light, and caught my eye, i thought it was a new BAR with a synthetic stock because of the the shape of the receiver. thanks

They are decent guns for the money, made in Turkey, which is not a bad thing. The new CZ line of shotguns are all made in Turkey as well. I have fired a Verona semi auto and it worked perfectly.

Hmmmmm, Well my Verona was made in Italy, just across the road from Beretta. Verona is owned by the maker of Fiocchi ammo. Could be the economy shotguns are indeed made in Turkey, but I think the 0/U's are not. 0 -
The bottom meat and potato semi autos are made for Verona in Turkey by Sarsilmaz and are good guns for the money. The higher up ones are indeed made in Italy. Sarsilmaz makes some good guns, they just are usually lackluster in the finsih department but have a pretty nice fit to them. Some people feel that they kick more than American made semi autos. 0
