Slug Gun, Scope Mount ?'s

Alright, I have a 12ga. ultra slug hunter deluxe by H&R and had millet rings on it with a khales scope, notice i said had, well the scope hit me in the head, and after i noticed the scope mount screw, the one that tigtens it down to the base actually broke, i don't know if it was from over tightening, or from the recoil...give me some input, but what would be a good strong, inexpensive rings for this gun?

  I believe the aluminum weaver base is the only application for that firearm so as for the rings the Millet weaver rings you have are made out of pot metal I had the seame results with them JUNK. Go with either the steel Burris ZEE rings or warne MAXIMA steel rings..... Both of these are the strongest real steel weaver type rings you can get.
