list of sub 3" @50 yard 45s
I'm looking to get a bullseye pistol for next year's outdoor season. I know RRA and Les Bear sell 45s that group under 3". Any other choices? TIA....Joe

Hello there are a number of routes you can take to get a sub 3 inch pistol . This said there are also a nuber of pit-falls. I think you could do it with a good Kimber like the Gold Match.

I have a Wilson that will do it, and just bought a sti that I cannot verify 100% at that distance yet, but I have a strong feeling it will with no problem, the STI Trojan is around a grand, but does not have the extra Swartz safety the kimbers do, and are extremely smooth, it's not a 2 grand Wilson but it comes the closest {I also have kimbers and Springfield's they don't touch ether one in anyway}

A couple of years ago there were 2 guys at the rifle range shooting 6 inch groups at 200 yards.I don't know if that is good groups with a 45 ACP,but I was impressed.Both guys were using stock guns one was a Colt 80 series 1911,the other was using a Ruger p-97. 0 -
you know what flag im raising on that one, dont you![:p] i know men who cant hold a 6" group with M1A's at 200!

Trajectory at 200 yards for a .45 acp would have to be at least three feet, and I say a" at the least" 0
