Leupold click adjustments or not?

Hello all...I own mostly leupold VX-II and Burris scopes with click adjustments,I just purchased a TC Omega Muzzleloader and have a chance to get a VX-I 2-7 scope at a good price But before i Plunk down my money I was wondering just how reliable a "Friction adjustment scope" was compared to click adjustments. I will be pushing 300 grain sabots with 150 grains of powder and need it to be reliable. any feedback would be great, Thanks

  I have a Leupold M8 2.5X Scout Scope on a Marlin 1895G .45/70, and I've shot quite a number of heavy loads through it. The Scout Scope has the "friction" type adjustments and has never shifted its point of impact.
