Redfield Spotting Scope

I'm thinking of buying a used spotting scope and would like to hear from anyone who has used one. The Regal was red. It was 15x45 or 20x60 and came with a rotating eye piece, an aluminum hard case, and an extra 25x eye piece. Thanks - Any info would be appreciated.

  JFK was great and so are these old Red Redfields. I have 3 and obviously really like them. What info are you looking for. I would let you borrow one to try out since that probably would tell you the most. Maybe someone has one near you? You might also try and get an eighties Redfield catalog from the internet. Good Luck

  A super old heavy duty spotting scope, built very strong, and mine has the best little tripod invented that came with it. I paid $250.00 for mine NIB a while back and consider it money well spent.....
  It's equally as good as my current Burris Signature spotting scope, and that one cost me a little bit more.

  I just bought a new (not referb) Nikon "Sky & Earth" 15-45X60 on ebay for $245 including shipping ... its amazing!
