savage model 99 .243 F carbine

I have a Savage model 99 .243 F carbine. How much would it be worth? It has been shot a few times but not many.

Hello Jake,

With the scant description of the graded condition, most likely it is in the $250 - $500 range.

Without better description, Bert has it nailed. Depends on the area of the country. Some shows they just sit there, others, they have a fast following. A nice "shooter grade" is usually around $325 to $375. Nicer and the .243 usually bring over $400

In the Southwest you would be hard put to find a shooter grade 99 with a good clean bore for under $450.

I have four hundred dollars and would be very interested in acquiring a Savage model 99 243f for my Grandson who is starting hunting this fall, do you think you would be willing part with your rifle.

I too would be interested in it.

I'd suggest getting some nice pictures of it, and post it for sale on the auction side of GunBroker (not here in the forums)..
