Need CZ 52 Help FAST!!!!

I went to chamber a round in to the gun and the barrel did not go all the back to the seat. It came back and picked up the round but did not close all the way. So right now I have a round in the chamber and the action will not close. I tried to break down the gun but you can not pull the action back or push it foward. So what happend and what can I try befor I take it to a gunsmith? thanks

    I have had this happen, especially with Romanian surplus ammo. I polished the chamber with a bore mop with some jeweller's rouge, on a Dremel. Much better, now.

    I assume that you can lock the slide back so there is no chance of any thing striking the bullet primer. If so, you may be able to bump the round out by pushing a wood dowel down the barrel against the nose of the bullet. Don't tell your wife. I have used old military ammo in my CZ52 because I do not have good sense and cannot resist a "good deal". If you look close you will see that the brass is often cracked around the neck. This will cause the round to jam when entering the chamber. Be smart use only new ammo. The CZ52 is an amazing gun. You can find good stuff on line. Just enter cz52 or 7.62x25.
