A friend needs a source for 350 Rem Mag brass or loaded ammo can anyone help out?

How is this for a deer cartridge? looks like it would be a very good one. my main concern is the damage it may cause to them. looking at the 673 guide gun, but i see that ruger may be making one in the 77. i hate what the stock on the guide gun looks like, but i can get over that. shots will be 100 yards or less in brush.

Damage? Heavens yes it's going to cause damage, it's going to kill the deer or any other North American game animal.
But since you want a more serious answer, the .350 Remington will be a superb deer and elk cartridge when you take the time to choose and test with the appropriate bullets suited to the game. The velocities achieved by this cartridge are moderate due to magazine length restrictions and therefore deep seating of the heavier bullets. Because of that, the damage to the meat will be minimized if you choose your shot correctly. Don't go for the shoulder, go for the heart shot and save yourself the hassle of tracking.
I would try the Hornady 200 gr. Spitzer or the 225 gr. Nosler partition for general deer hunting and a 270gr. North Fork for elk. Be sure to start with the intermediate fast powders such as AA 2520, Re-15, IMR/H-4895, Ramshot Big Game and V V N-135. The link has reloading information.
