Anyone have experience with Commanche revolvers?

Buddy of mine offered to sell his for 150, and for a .357 that sounds like too good of an offer. Anyone shot one of these or know anything about em?

    If it was made by Gabilondo y Cia in Victoria, Spain imported by Stoeger Industries , South Hackensack, NJ, it is an older gun, probably of very good quality, and worth owning, especially at the price asked. If it's a newer gun, I can't offer an opinion. Maybe someone else who owns the newer model can comment. I have an older Super Commanche(1981) and it is very accurate and well built.

    I just bought the .22 and it has the worst accuracy of any gun I have ever shot. This gun struggles to get 4 inch groups at 20 feet and thats in single action mode! After about 27 shots another interesting thing happens...the bullets start going into the target sideways! I have never seen anything like it. I am not a gunsmith but I assume that the rifling is so poorly engineered, that it fouls out too quickly. This was actually witnessed by 3 people in my shooting class, a revolver that became a smooth bore before our eyes. A total piece of junk...and I'm embarrassed to say I spent about 170.00 (new) minus shipping and transfer for it.These are from Argentina and are imported by the same company that sells the Firestorm in New Jersey I believe SGS.

    It is possible that the forcing cone is the culprit. We are a warranty center for that product, if you bought the gun new we'd be glad to fix it.
