howdy folks ..... well her we go i picked up a 1938 belgian A-5 SER 200724 in a hard leather browning travel box...... in side was / is a orginal hang tag ,a owners manual, and a order form for other barrels .... the stock had been cut down 1 barrel has 99% blueing and the has about 50% there are no cracks in the stocks and oh yea an orginal shipping box post marked feb 22 1940 from browning it is the box that the extra barrel came in well hope that was enought info .... inclosed are 2 pix thanx david[img][/img]

Not sure where the enclosed pictures are, but based on your description, the gun itself will not have much value (due to the cutdown stock). You did not say which barrel was the original (the 50% or the 99%), but that really will not matter very much. The original box, hang tag, and owners manual are probably worth more than the gun, and would generate a fair amount of interest from Browning collecters.
