old german or english handgun??????
i have handgun dont know what it is. fires 6 bulltes each chamber is numbered. has a wooden handle. on the gun itself it has a crown with ERFURT under it. then below the name it has 1893. the safety is a lever you move up and down the gun. all the five screws in it have 02 on them. it also has a belt attachment on the end of the wood. what do i have and what is it worth[?][?][;)]

It is German. The word ERFURT stands for a German Gov. arsenal . as far as value this pistol would either need a hands on or at least some good quality pictures posted to this site. 0 -
Sounds like a Reischrevolver manufactured by Erfurt Royal Arsenal.

If it looks like this it a German "Model 1883 Reichsrevolver". 
Value would depend on if it's in "arsenal original" and "physical condition".
There quite collectable, and worth some money if the two above criteria are met.

It's an '83 Reichsrevolver. It shoots a 10.6mm German Service Cartridge similar to a .44 Russian.
The safety levers are kinda fragile and can only be engaged at slightly half-cock.
They are very shootable weapons and ammo is available.
I have paid as little as $275 and as much as $700 depending on the maker and the model. An '83 Erfurt is absolutely the most common Reichsrevolver available.
Your weapon was accepted in 1893, but it could have been made earlier. You will see some "Regimentals" on the grip possibly consisting of A's, I's, R's (both scroll and Arabic) or other letters and numbers. Possibly some of these will be X'ed out. These tell the ownership history of the weapon.

Quit using up post. Chub might want to know what his Regimentals are and need to post the exact markings with the periods also in place. That is important.
Unless you can decypher them for him. I can and you could learn something you won't find in a cut and paste.
ADDENDUM: In your photo of the '79 model, the cylinder axis pin retaining lever is broken off. For someone not versed in these, that could cause a misidentification. You might want to round file that photo.0
