Information on N.E.F 17 cal.

Thinking of buying a17 cal. nef heavy bbl syn.stock anyone know anything about them how do they shoot. Are they accurate. thanks for any information on this.

  From what I hear,the NEF "centerfires" are inherently accurate.
  
  I haven't heard that much on the "rimfires",but I don't see why they would be any different.
  
  I have also heard that occasionaly,one comes along that ya can't hit a barn with if your standin' inside of it.
  
  I'm beginning to think that my .223 w/bull bbl. falls into that catagory.[:(]
  
  I haven't given up on it yet,but I've had two different scopes on it and still haven't gotten it to shoot worth a dime.[V]
  
  All that said,I know lots of people that have them and brag on the accuracy.

  i own a nef synthetic stock 17hmr. great great gun. at 25 yards all 3 shots touch.
  
  it only has a 4x scope on it and i have only tried it a bit at 100 yards.
  
  BUY IT. YOULL LIKE IT.
