I.D. help on old SxS please

I picked this up today and dissassembled it to look for a mark or two. All I found is the serial number 3361XX(matching numbers on all the parts I have.) and an X and 6 on the part of the barrels that lock into the action/reciever. It's missing the side plates and hammer. I plan on doing a semi restore job to it. So I'll need to find the hammers and side plates and maybe the wood if it's worth it. I know it's worth finding the side plates and hammers. Any and all help is welcome. TIA.[8D]

  Almost certainly a Crescent as far as I can tell. I assume no proofs on the barrel flats and steel tubes (as best I can tell).
  
  These were rather crude pieces and probably better than the sum of their parts. Good luck with the hammer assemblies.

  I agree it appears to be a Crescent production. The name would be on the side plates and they were sold under something over 80 different names. Don't spend a fortune restoring it, the restored value might be about $100 as a wall hanger.
