Sako/Lazzeroni Firbird

I've got a Sako/Lazzeroni Firebird I'd like to sell. It has a brand new Leupold VX-III 4.5-14X50 long range (30 mm tube) scope. I've shot it about 12 times. Will this gun sell? If so, I'm thinking of starting it at around $1,000. If it sells less than that I'll lose money on it. Any opinions?

    There is ( 2 ) on-line gun auctions and ( 1 ) on-line brokerage that you can search. See how and if the Lazzeroni's are selling. It will give you an idea how much luck your going to have, when you put your rifle up for sale.

    Thanks. I've checked out gunbroker.com and they have one that seems to be doing okay. It is a Remington with a barrell chambered for the Lazzeroni short action 30 caliber. They have already doubled the original asking price. What are the links to the other sites that broker or auction guns?

    Unfortunately the filters on this site won't let me post the names or URL's. Do a Google search for Gun Auctions, etc. I'm sure youl be able to find them.

    I suspect your market will be small. Think about why you are selling it after shooting 12 rounds. Ammo is insanely expensive, and the rifle itself is not cheap. Even so, there is likely a market, however small. List it on gunbroker and see what happens. You can place a minimum bid of $1K or a reserve.

    Good points. I'm selling it b/c I've pickd up a new hobby and that was the only gun that I owned that I probably could get rid of and get enough money to do what I want with this new hobby. I actually still hate getting rid of it though. It is listed on gunbroker.com now.
