Ruger Security Six 150 prefix aftermarket grips???

Does anyone make grips for the 150 prefix guns? And if so where can I get some.

    I would go over to the Ruger Talk forum.Members there have them at times.You could also try looking at GunBroker.com and Ebay auctions.

    Don't know if these are for a 150- or not. I bought these in the early '70's for a security six that I had. As you know the original grips were a little too small. These really felt good. As you can see by the price marked on the box, THEY ARE OLD!! Herrett's still has a web sight www.herrett-stocks.com I believe, but the prices are $90 or so. Is yours an older gun, I'm not up on the s/n / year of manufacture? I bought mine new in 1971 and paid $97.50.

    I have a set of the Deluxe Oversized Walnut Checkered Ruger Factory Original still New w/Ruger Emblem and in the Ruger Package (RLG Style). These are about 30+ years old. If interested send me an email.[:)][:)]

    The 150 guns had a different size grip frame thicker through the top and the later grips don't fit. That being said J Scott and Mustang grips both used to make sets for them, so they are out there you just have to look hard.

    I thought sure I had what you were looking for. Double checked and I used to have a Sec Six with a 151 prefix. I have a set of smooth walnut finger grooved grips by Mustang that leaves the backstrap exposed. They were the best I ever had in my hand and kept them, thinking I would get another Sec Six but never did. If they would fit yours, they're for sale.Mustanggrips0001.jpg

    Its got to be for a 150 prefix,a 151 just wont work.
