worth?
I have a Spandau 1893 GEW 88. It will cost me @ 500-600 to get this gun into shape for shooting. It will need to be rebarreled, forge the bold, fix the safety, drill and tap it for a scope or at a minimum install sights. I am interested in selling it for parts and was looking for opinions on value of that. The bold and action is all that is in decent shape. The barrel is missing the shroud and the stock has been sporterized.

Just want a feeling of worth of a Glock .40 cal with internal laser sight. Better to separate the two or go for the unit. Glock has less than 50 rounds fired...none since laser installed. Opinions please. Not looking to sell at the moment just some advice. Thanks 0 -

Mike is dead on. If all numbers match (including bolt and receiver) it should be shootable. You will find it more accurate and more fun than any 100 year old mil surp rifle has any right to be. 0 -
Don't mean to disagree with the two previous posters, but the value of your rifle would depend mostly on it being in arsenal original condition. These rifles have been imported from Sweden for at least 40 years. Over that time span many have been sportized to make them more handy as deer rifles. This usually has a very negative effect on their present value to a collector. If you could post quality pictures of your rifle, we would be better able to give you an idea of its value.
