Info on Taurus 24/7

Have any of you owned,shot or had experience with this pistol? Good or bad let me hear it.

Shot one chambered in .45 ACP a friend of mine bought and I thought it was great. It will probably be the next large frame gun I buy. Good trigger, very accurate, incredibly comfortable grips. Even die hard 1911 shooters who have tried seem to think it is a nice piece of work. From my experience I would have no problem giving it a strong recommendation.

The rubber ribs on the grip are nice for a good grip, but grit and grime try to find a home in-between them. A tooth brush fixes that up for the most part, then the grips are back to the best I've had. Mine is in 9mm and has proven to be very reliable so far.
That said, I do really prefer my first shot to be 'hammer back', and I like my 'controls' in the 1911 locations.
The gun is certainly a great bang for the buck...NO doubt about that.

If we do not hang together,
We will most certainly hang separately.
