Which Red Dot Sight?
I have a Bushmaster AR15 A3 that I would like to put a red dot sight on.It would be used mostly for just plain plinking and target shooting out to 100 yards with the occasional varmit hunting.What brand and dot size do you recommend? A good place to buy one would also be useful. Thanks for your help and advice.

IMHO it would be hard to beat an ULTRADOT with adjustable dot sze as sold and supported with service if ever needed by Larry's guns in Maine. 0 -
I have a Colt flat-top, and put an EOTech 552 on it, and was totally impressed with it. The last 9 rounds I fired when dialing it in put 6 in the X-ring, the other three just outside at 50 meters. 0 -

Aimpoint is very good and the batteries last forever almost. The 7000 series has been replaced by a 9000 series and I haven't looked at the new ones. I've used them in dim to bright light and it always worked for me.
