COLT Army Special partial cold-blue?

Slight but noticeable "light" pitting near muzzle of this pistol.

Might I "gently" burnish with 450grit emery and spot reblue? Oxy-Blue or equivalent.

I KNOW . . . I'd best have whole barrel reblued, but weapon not of great value at even 100%

  I would try Blue Wonder's bluing system. I have found it to be the best for touch-up and home rebluing. I clean mine with Magnisum wool.
