old cans of powder

I have a bunch of old cans of powder. Is the value in the cans? the powder? or both together? I was going to put the cans on EBAY to get max exposure and price but that means dumping the powder. What should I do.

  O.K. , Dump the Powder , it is very dangerous if any age at all & possible moisture problems !!! Go ahead and sell the stuff (cans) on fleabay , good luck , they may zap the auctions , they have been known to do such odd things ...Also , consider the fact it MIGHT be illegal to ship (via USPS) these cans if there is "any powder" present ??? Could be a possible fubar !!!

  JIM: talk to our resident Ammo Expert...(ICONOCLAST) down on the Wanted Portion of the Forums and see what He has to say about the powder and cans...Sterns is probably correct...but Iconoclast might offer an alternative....Best.......
