Will a Romanian ak-47 standard size barrel fit on an Egyptian Maadi ? Thanks

  headspace can be an issue when switching from gun to gun. My romanian barrels measure 23mm on the shank. Don't have a Maadi to measure.

  The Maadis are 21mm----thanks for your replys, this saved my customer alot of heartache !!!!!

  I don't see any reason you couldn't throw a romy barrel in a lathe, turn it down to 21mm, and re drill for the cross pin once you have the headspace set where you want it.
