Want a 9mm for around $200

Can anyone help me by selling me or informing me about a good 9mm for around $200? I have been reading about Jennings, but not sure if they are a good brand.

If you have a new handgun for sale around $200 or know which brand I should buy please E-mail me.

    jennings is trash. post this on the experts forum. i would recommend spending a little more and getting a ruger or a tanfoglio witness.

    I'm not an expert, but i did stay in a Holiday Inn Express last night.

    A good used Star BM is excellent and very reliable - Just a thought - just bought a CZ-52 in 7.65x25mm. Lots of power - reliable - strong - accurated - asenal refurbished - with new leather holster - 125 right here on GB. and there are more -- BM's are avail also, I have one of those too - love it.

    Forget Jennings.Like MBSAMS said a Star BM or the CZ-52 would be about your best choice or a Makarov in 9x18mm.You could spend abit more around $250.00 and get a Kel-Tec P-11.Its hard to find a good auto in that price range and caliber.The best choices I think are.
    1.Kel Tec P-11
    2.Star BM
    3.CZ-52 in 9mm or 7.62 caliber
    4.Makarov in 9x19mm Makarov (the power is right under 9mm Parabellum,but they are very good guns and can be had in that price range)

    Kel-tec p11, definately. One of the best 9mm gun values available.

    You should also look at used S&Ws; I see a bunch listed in the $250-300 range.

    I'll second the recommendation for a Star BM. Looks and feels like a Colt Commander, and it's the most accurate 9mm I've ever fired.

    I think the first question to ask would be: What do you plan on using the gun for?
    For plinking, Star BM.
    For CCW, KelTec P11.
    For home protection, maybe you should get a revolver?

    I bought a Walther P-38 in like new condition with 2 mags & holster for a little over $150. Surplus German police pistol. Not a good piece for CCW but a reliable military 9mm and a nice shooter.

    a bulgarian FEG PJK-9HP, HiPower clone. The one I had ran flawlessly and was accurate, only thing that sucks about them is the finish.

    This is supposed to be a pretty good 9mm. Its right in between a SIG 226 and a 228. From everything I've read about these, they are very good quality and make for a reliable shooter. Charles Daly now imports them as the ZDA so extra mags are availible. You can also read a review on this site:

    I bought a used Argentine made 9 mm FM Hi-Power last week for $200. For the money, it's hard to beat.

    This would probably be your best bet here.I used to have one of these and never had one problem from it and it was accurate.My only complaint is the trigger felt strange but mine was a very good gun.

    Another vote for the Star. I have seen them for $180, but you should be able to get one for $150 if you shop around. I had a Keltec 9mm and the trigger was garbage. Stars are great guns for the money. Last time I checked www.kyimports.com had some left.

    You might be able to find a deal on a used Ruger P89 or similar.

    If you buy the CZ 52 for $125, you can buy a 9mm barrel for about $80.00 and have "two for the price of one".

    You can occasionally find a used police trade-in Smith and Wesson 9mm for about $200.

    You're probably better off with one of those than some C&R relic or a Star.

    try this link ,its a ruger p95dc stainless that was my personnel gun.shoots great and eats all ammo. its in excellent cond.hope this helps

    i bought my ruger p89dc for 300 new, find a used one i love mine, you can get the high cap mags for it, i use the 30 rd sticks for when i'm out plinking... load a few up and shoot till your arms get tired... or give your buddy a turn...

    Keltecs have a very good rep for not misfiring, and Star BM is a fine weapon as well, I have one. Remember however, if this is your personal saftey and the saftey of your loved ones, there is no other finer weapon than a Colt .45, (my personal favorite) they can be had for under four hundred and what is more important than that safety?

    if ya pull it out...IT BETTER WORK!
