I have a 6.5 carcano and my father lost the bolt. [V] Can anyone tell me where I can find a replacement?
I almost forgot to introduce myself so hi an am corny![:D]

  There were several Carcano models, & you need to identify the exact one. If you go to e-gunparts.com , they have diagrams of many guns that may help you. They have a lot of obsolete parts, but, by the time you buy the stripped bolt plus all the other parts you will need, you may end up spending as much as the complete rifle is worth.
  
  It may be better to take the rifle to your local gun shows. Around here, there are always a couple of milsurp parts dealers at these shows. At least, you will know immediately if the bolt fits your model.

  bolts need to be checked for headspace after installing in a different gun. The low pressure carcano rd might let you get away with more than say, a 223 would permit, tho. The danger is a ruptured case and hot gas and brass frags in your face.

  Not sure which model you have but here's a link to the Numrich

  Thanks for the input guys.[:D] I will take the above under careful consideration. Maybe spending the extra cash would be ok seeing as how I got the gun for free. Who knows?
  
  All I know is this is my first gun and I want to keep it a while.
