    The Grenade Launcher on the Yugoslav Model 59/66 is dimensioned to fire the NATO standard size, 22mm rifle grenades.

    Best to make sure you have all your ducks in a row before starting to fool around with rifle grenades. Even the inert/dummy ones might be of questionable legality in some areas. Also the firing of rifle grenades from a rifle has a tendency to beat the s**t out of a rifle. I wouldn't be shooting a whole lot of them from a rifle thats in excellent condition.

    I'd do a search on here for rifle grenades. I recall someone selling a setup a few years ago that would allow you to lauch tennis balls.

    As a kid we used to poor lighter fluid on tennis balls, light them, and kick them around the driveway at night. Very dangerous! [:p]

    What I'd like to find is a reloading work-up for 7.62x39 grenade-firing cartridges that matches the ranges on the grenade sights on the SKS 59/66...

    what we used (still) do is fill a beer can 1 /4 to 1/2 up with gasoline. make a gas trail to it. put a match to the trail. and hit it with a 9 iron. it is fun and totatlly legal as far as i understand.

    I'm not an expert, but i did stay in a Holiday Inn Express last night.

    My experience has been that it is best to completely avoid anything that even remotely LOOKS like it could be illegal. If you think that LEOs are going to stand around their patrol cars debating the finer points of GCA68 with you, you are sadly mistaken. They will slap the cuffs on you so fast that it will make your head spin. Sure, you will eventually be released, but not after being arrested & paying a lawyer to get you out.

    Some things are just not worth doing.
