Savage 340 in .225 Winchester

What can you tell me about a Savage M-340 Varminter in .225 Winchester caliber. Would one in very good (about 90% condition) be worth $200? I may buy one tomorrow. Thanks for any information.

    I'd say you're in the ballpark.
    I got one in that shape in .22 Hornet for that price and am well satisfied.

    You will be extremely Lucky if it's still there.If I were you the gun would me home with me.I think that the .225 Win.is the rarest 340 made,then comes the .223. [^]

    I put a deposit on it. I've finally learned my lesson about going back "tomorrow". I usually put $10-$20 down to hold it for 24 hours. I bought it today for $200 OTD. It has a side mount for a scope but is missing the iron sights. Barrel looks OK. There are a few places where the bluing is worn but overall quite nice. Thanks for your information. I glad now that I placed the deposit.
