Remington 1100 Competition Master

My son just bought a Remington 1100 Competition Master. It is new. Are these being made anymore? Were there many made? I saw some with black stocks this one has grey, I assume it is the later version. What is a good price? Any other info on these would be nice. Thanks, Jim
