Daily Carry Weapon

Please help me identify a daily carry automatic that is fairly small, lightweight,reliable, with good stopping power. Thanks for your knowledge.

O.K. , I carry a glock 23 (40 cal.) for "duty" , but for 'off duty' a.k.a. daily carry : its a Keltec 40 cal.

I like the KelTecs because of size and weight, 9mm or bigger. I carry the 9mm, but with +p ammo. I use the add on belt clip rather than a holster. The small Glocks are also good, probably better if you can conceal a little larger pistol. Both of the pistols above use the same type of safety being in the trigger rather than a separate lever or button that I personally fear that I might fumble in the heat of a bad situation.

I use a Ruger KP345PR. It's not too small. not too big. and feels great. not expensive and very reliable/accurate

I guess I'm the odd man out. I almost always carry a Colt SAA in 45 or 44 Special. The other carry piece is a re-worked 70 Seris Colt Government model with S&W sights on it. Both are comfortable for me to carry and I guess dates me a bit.

Shooter, you carry a SAA as your carry weapon? I've always wondered if there were any people who carry SAAs. Is it a 4-3/4 barrel model and how do you carry it if I might ask?

That wart hog is a nice piece, I almost got one earlier this year, but I opted for a custom shop kimber

25 oz's, 3.2# trigger, and will feed anything, accuracy is uncanny
